This one is our Goodyear welted without fiddle back MTO  shoes

 

Goodyear welted shoes are high-quality footwear construction known for their durability, comfort, and reparability. The term "Goodyear welted" refers to the method by which the sole is attached to the shoe's upper.

 Features of Goodyear Welted Shoes:

  1. The Welt: A strip of leather (or other material) is stitched around the edge of the shoe’s upper and insole. This is the "welt."

  2. Stitched, Not Glued: The welt is then stitched to the outsole. This two-step stitching process makes the shoes very sturdy and easier to resole.

  3. Cork Filling: The space between the insole and outsole is often filled with cork, which molds to your foot over time for a custom fit and added comfort.

  4. Resoleable: Because the sole isn’t directly attached to the upper, it can be replaced without damaging the shoe, which extends the life of the footwear significantly.

  5. Water Resistance: The construction offers some water resistance due to the stitched layers and thicker soles.

  • This period begins the business day after your order is successfully placed.

2. Shipping & Delivery:

  • Once production is complete, your item will be immediately prepared for shipment.
  • The final delivery time is determined by the shipping method you select at checkout.
  • We will send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Total Estimated Wait Time: Please factor in both the two-week production period plus the chosen shipping transit time for the final expected delivery date
